Step Forward to Cure TSC - Seattle 2012

On July 28th (yes, I know I'm way behind! haha) TEAM JOEL participated in the Step Forward to Cure Tuberous Sclerosis - Seattle 2012 walkathon. It was our first walkathon and we really enjoyed it! We had a group of mil friends that came out to support us, and I'm not sure if they will ever truly know how much it meant to Jer & I.

Oh, and the best part -- Team Joel raised $1,235.00!! Yeah!!

When we got home that night Jer and I both agreed we had a good time but it was also very.. bittersweet, I guess you could say.. to meet other TS families. We hate that other people are having to deal with this horrible disease. One thing is for sure though.. this TS community will NEVER give up!
