A Few Highlights From Our Trip To The North

J's family had a surprise baby shower for us! It was the sweetest thing ever! It meant so much to us since I wasn't able to have one while I was pregnant. J and I had fun opening all the goodies everyone brought for Joel..


The day of the shower we also celebrated J + his cousin's birthday. It was the first time in years that they've been able to celebrate together!

{J would like you to know that the party hats were NOT their idea. HAHA!}

The day after the shower/birthday party was my first Mother's Day! :) I woke up that day with a VERY thankful heart. For years I thought I would never be able to be a mother, so to say it was a special day for me would be a huge understatement! I still can't believe that God blessed us with this precious miracle/cool little dude! =P




We did a bunch of stuff during our trip, but I think my favorite part was going to Amish country. J's mom took us and we had a great time. I lovvvvvved all the shops we went to!
